Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate role based in Chicago, IL. The Associate will support investment opportunities from origination to execution, including conducting in-depth market research, preparing financial models, and performing due diligence. The role also involves assisting with portfolio management, helping to drive value creation in existing investments, and collaborating with the leadership of partner companies to meet strategic business objectives. Additionally, the Associate will prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of investment strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills for evaluating investment opportunities and creating financial projections.
- Excellent research, market analysis, and due diligence abilities to assess new investment prospects and industry trends.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, combined with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases is a plus.
- Relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
