We are seeking a creative, curious, and highly organized Marketing Content Associate to join our team. This role will support content and marketing initiatives across our brands, helping bring stories, insights, and industry conversations to life through editorial content, email marketing, social media, and multimedia storytelling.
The ideal candidate is comfortable researching topics, interviewing industry professionals, developing editorial features, writing compelling email marketing copy, and leveraging AI and automation tools to work more efficiently. They are equally passionate about great storytelling, internet culture, emerging technology, and the ever-evolving digital landscape.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of content formats, contribute to editorial planning and brainstorming, and support high-impact marketing initiatives. Success in this role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team where flexibility, initiative, and curiosity are highly valued.
Primary Responsibilities
– Research, pitch, and develop content ideas for editorial features, interviews, newsletters, content series, and marketing campaigns.
– Own content projects from initial concept through publication, distribution, and promotion.
– Transform interviews and research into compelling editorial content, thought leadership pieces, and feature stories.
– Adapt messaging for different audiences while maintaining strong editorial standards and brand voice.
– Publish and manage content across websites, email platforms, social media channels, and other digital properties.
– Create and edit basic video content informed by trend reports, research, and industry insights for social media and marketing initiatives.
– Design simple visual assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
– Ensure content is optimized for audience engagement, platform best practices, and SEO where applicable.
– Monitor content performance and provide recommendations to improve future content and audience engagement.
– This is a full-time, hybrid role, in our NYC Flatiron office and reports to the Group’s Marketing Director.
Desired Qualifications
– 1+ years of experience in editorial, content marketing, copywriting, journalism, communications, or a related field.
– Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
– Experience writing both short-form and long-form content.
– Strong research, interviewing, and storytelling abilities.
– Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
– Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
– Pay Range*: $60k-$70K per annum
