Marketing Coordinator
The Original and Still the Best. That's been Golden Chick's promise since we opened our first restaurant in San Marcos, Texas, in 1967. Nearly 60 years and 250 restaurants later, we just had our biggest year of growth in company history: 23 new restaurants in 2025 alone. Behind all of that growth is the same standard we started with: quality, caring, and treating every franchisee relationship the way we'd want to be treated ourselves. We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator to help carry that standard through every new restaurant opening, every franchisee conversation, and every piece of marketing that goes out the door.
If you're the person who keeps every detail in line and never lets something slip through the cracks, this is where that skill matters most. As a full-time member of our team based at our Richardson, TX headquarters, you'll partner directly with our Director of Marketing and the rest of our marketing and creative team to keep new restaurant openings, vendor invoices, and branded merchandise running as smoothly as the brand has since 1967.
What You'll Do:
- Support roughly 25 new restaurant openings a year, coordinating signage, décor, uniforms, menu boards, POP kits, and required LSM materials for new openings, transfers, and remodels
- Own the marketing inbox and incoming LSM requests, keeping the broader team looped in and aware of what's coming through.
- Manage our marketing ordering portal across the board, including on-demand print materials, active campaign and promotional offer materials, and NRO items, working directly with our print vendor and other suppliers on selection and pricing.
- Source and maintain swag, wearables, and promotional inventory, including ordering, fulfillment, and stock levels.
- Partner with our creative team on print, swag, and wearables production, managing timelines, proofs, and vendor relationships from start to finish.
- Process marketing AP/AR, including invoices, backup documentation, spreadsheets, confirmations, and budget tracking.
- Join us for our company conference once a year, and occasionally support corporate restaurant openings in person (about one to two times a year).
Qualification Snapshot:
- 2+ years of coordinator, franchise marketing, LSM, or marketing-support experience is a strong plus.
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable with basic accounting tasks (AP/AR, invoice reconciliation, budget tracking)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), Teams, Slack, and Monday.com
- Strong follow-through
- Bachelor's degree required
