Role Description The Financial Analyst at Bennett LLC will support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to guide data-informed decision-making across the business. This full-time, on-site role, based in California's Central Valley, will analyze financial statements, prepare regular financial reports, and monitor key performance indicators. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, model scenarios, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Daily responsibilities include preparing variance analyses, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, and maintaining accurate financial models and dashboards. The Financial Analyst will also assist in developing recommendations for leadership, contributing to strategic planning and long-term financial sustainability.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including knowledge of core financial concepts and business fundamentals.
- Experience in Financial Planning and budgeting, with the ability to build and maintain financial models and forecasts.
- Proficiency with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software; experience with ERP or BI tools is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and financial modeling.
