Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in New York, NY. The Graphic Designer will create and refine visual assets for packaging, marketing materials, digital campaigns, and in-store displays that support Merkury Innovations’ product lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, producing graphics and layouts aligned with brand guidelines, and preparing production-ready files for print and digital channels. The role will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions. The Graphic Designer will also participate in brainstorming sessions, maintain a consistent visual identity across brands, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics production, with a solid portfolio showcasing consumer product or retail-focused work.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including the ability to develop and maintain cohesive visual identities across products and campaigns.
- Proficiency in Typography and layout design, with an eye for hierarchy, readability, and visual balance.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative design processes.
- Experience designing for consumer electronics, home decor, or lifestyle brands is preferred but not required.
