Company Description Unplugged Performance is a global leader in premium performance upgrades and customization for Tesla vehicles. Founded in 2013 in Hawthorne, CA, Unplugged Performance is seeking a talented and creative Content Creator. This role is pivotal in capturing, editing, and producing compelling visual content that showcases our products, engages our audience, and elevates our brand identity. From shooting our latest builds on location to cutting scroll-stopping social videos, you will be the creative engine behind how the world sees Unplugged Performance.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Creator role based in Hawthorne, CA. The Content Creator will develop and produce engaging content that showcases Unplugged Performance products, brand story, and customer experiences across digital platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning content campaigns, creating content for social media, product pages, and email, and coordinating photo and video shoots to highlight vehicle upgrades and performance. The role will also involve capturing behind-the-scenes content in the shop, collaborating with marketing and product teams to translate technical features into clear benefits, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit high-quality video and photo content of our vehicles, products, and installations
- Produce content optimized for social media platforms including Meta, X, TikTok, and YouTube
- Edit video using DaVinci Resolve and refine photography in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, production, and post-production workflows
- Develop creative concepts and storytelling that resonate with Tesla and automotive enthusiasts
- Manage content from concept through capture, edit, and final delivery
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align content with product launches and campaigns
- Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and quality standard across all assets
- Stay current on platform trends, formats, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement
- Work on many projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining quality
Required Skills & Experience

- Fluency with AI tools for content creation and workflow acceleration
- Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve editing workflow
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Video editing and shooting skills with a strong creative eye
- Hands-on social media experience with Meta, X, TikTok, and YouTube
- Creative storytelling abilities and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Car enthusiast and Tesla enthusiast
- Clean driving record preferred
- Passion for the automotive industry, aftermarket, and Tesla is a plus
