Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Regional Sales Manager role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Regional Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by managing and expanding customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting DEPRAG’s screwdriving, automation, air motor, and industrial tool solutions across the assigned territory. Responsibilities include developing and executing regional sales strategies, conducting on-site customer visits, preparing and delivering technical product presentations, and coordinating product demonstrations. The role involves working closely with engineering, applications, and customer service teams to develop proposals, quotations, and solution concepts that meet customer needs. The Regional Sales Manager will maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records, monitor market trends and competitors, participate in trade shows or industry events, and provide regular activity and performance reports to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B industrial or capital equipment sales, ideally in automation, industrial tools, or related manufacturing technologies.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate features and benefits of screwdriving systems, automation solutions, and air motors; ability to read basic technical documentation or drawings is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with engineers, buyers, and senior decision-makers.
- Self-directed and organized, with solid territory management, time management, and CRM utilization skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas assigned region; occasional travel to other locations, trade shows, and headquarters as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience.
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and meeting or exceeding sales targets; familiarity with key account management is beneficial.
- Comfort working in a quality focused product.
