ZED INK is an experiential marketing agency that creates immersive events, branded activations, and unforgettable audience experiences around the world. We're looking for a motivated, creative, and curious recent graduate or early-career creative to join our team as a Creative Assistant for a 3-month paid internship, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone who loves design, storytelling, live experiences, and bringing ideas to life. You'll work alongside experienced creatives and producers while gaining hands-on exposure to the development of events, environments, activations, and entertainment experiences from concept through execution.
If your long-term goal is to become a Creative Director, Creative Producer, Experiential Designer, or Creative Strategist, this internship is designed to help you build the foundation for that journey.
Role Overview
As a Creative Assistant Intern, you'll support the creative team through research, design development, presentation building, content creation, and project coordination. You'll contribute to projects across live events, immersive experiences, entertainment, gaming, branded environments, theater, and experiential marketing.
We're looking for someone who is visually driven, creatively curious, highly organized, and excited to learn in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 months
- Position Type: Full-time, paid internship
- Compensation: $22 – 25/hr
- Location: Hybrid/Remote with occasional in-person meetings and on-site event support as needed
- Preference: Los Angeles-based candidates or those located on the West Coast are preferred
- Future Opportunity: High-performing interns may be considered for full-time positions based on performance, business needs, and team fit

Ideal Qualifications
We're less concerned about having years of experience and more interested in finding someone with strong creative instincts, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong eye for design, aesthetics, and visual storytelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for live experiences, entertainment, events, and immersive environments
- Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and collaborative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Interest in creative leadership and long-term career growth
- Background, coursework, or personal projects in graphic design, theater, scenic design, experiential design, architecture, interior design, motion design, marketing, communications, or related creative fields
- Familiarity with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Interest in learning new creative technologies, workflows, and AI tools
- Comfortable working with internal teams, vendors, partners, and clients
Responsibilities
As a Creative Assistant Intern, you may:
- Conduct creative research, trend analysis, and inspiration gathering
- Develop mood boards and visual references for experiential concepts, branded environments, scenic design, video content, and interactive activations
- Build and refine presentation decks in Google Slides, PowerPoint, Figma, and related platforms
- Support creative brainstorming and concept development
- Assist with proposal writing, creative narratives, and design descriptions
- Research vendors, products, materials, and activation partners
- Source furniture, décor, finishes, music, materials, and creative references
- Organize and maintain digital creative assets and project files
- Take notes during creative meetings and track action items
- Support project timelines, schedules, and creative workflows
- Assist with travel coordination and on-site event execution when needed
