Position Overview
The Professional Sales Coordinator will play a key role in expanding Everlast’s presence across gyms, fitness clubs, sports training facilities, specialty retail partners that specialize in boxing and all relevant combat sports, and direct store-level operations. This role combines in-person relationship building, store support, and consistent phone/virtual outreach, requiring strong communication, sales, and operational skills.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for boxing, combat sports, fitness, and performance training. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts, driving new business, and supporting store-level execution to ensure brand consistency and sales performance aligned with Everlast’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and grow Everlast’s market presence within the assigned territory and target channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion
- Proactively prospect, qualify, and secure new business aligned with brand direction
- Execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and virtual outreach to drive engagement and sales
- Consistently meet or exceed annual sales goals and performance metrics
- Work directly with Sports Marketing to help identify potential news customers and help to provide input and comment on US strategy for the relevant categories being managed
Store-Level Execution & Support:
- Support store operations by ensuring proper merchandising, product placement, and visual standards are maintained in alignment with brand guidelines
- Partner with store leadership to drive in-store sales performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement
- Assist with training store teams on Everlast product features, benefits, and selling techniques
- Monitor inventory levels, identify gaps, and recommend replenishment or new product opportunities
- Provide feedback from the sales floor and customer interactions to improve product assortment and strategy
- Support in-store events, activations, and promotions to increase brand awareness and traffic
Operations & Reporting:
- Track, manage, and report all sales activity with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain organized account records, follow-ups, and pipeline tracking
- Represent Everlast professionally within the fitness, fight sports, and retail community
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience required; preference for sporting goods, fitness, or specialty retail markets
- Experience working with or supporting retail/store-level operations is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, generate leads, and successfully close deals
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Passion for fitness, boxing, or combat sports strongly preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory
