WeShip Express is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to grow our business throughout the Fredericksburg and Texas Hill Country market. This remote position requires residency within the Fredericksburg area and offers the opportunity to build a strong book of business while representing an industry-leading logistics provider.

What You'll Do
As a Sales Representative, you will develop new business opportunities and grow existing relationships throughout your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Achieve revenue goals, sales KPIs, and portfolio growth targets.
- Present WeShip Express solutions to prospective customers.
- Build relationships with manufacturers, distributors, e-commerce businesses, and other commercial clients.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and community engagement.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements.
- Collaborate with senior sales leadership to identify growth opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activity and pipeline development.
- Coordinate smooth customer onboarding and account transitions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer shipping and logistics challenges.
- Partner with operations and finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and billing accuracy.
- Travel locally throughout the territory to meet with customers and prospects.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated sales professional with a strong hunter mentality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong consultative selling and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Experience
- Two or more years experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain sales.
- Experience working within the wine industry, including wine distribution.
- Existing relationships within the Texas Hill Country wine community.
- Experience selling solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
- CRM experience.
Industry Focus
This position will support business development efforts throughout the Texas Hill Country, with a particular emphasis on serving wineries, vineyards, wine clubs, tasting rooms, and related hospitality businesses. The ideal candidate understands the unique shipping, compliance, and customer experience needs of the wine industry and can develop trusted relationships within this growing market.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional who combines strong business development skills with knowledge of the wine industry. Candidates with existing relationships within the Fredericksburg and Texas Hill Country wine community will be especially successful in this role.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of wine shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with winery operations, wine clubs, direct-to-consumer sales, or hospitality businesses.
- Familiarity with the Texas Hill Country wine market.
- Active involvement in local business, wine, or hospitality organizations is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience
Uncapped Commission Structure
Target Earnings: $85,000–$130,000+ annually
