Role Description As a full-time Relationship Manager based on-site in Menlo Park, CA, you will serve as a primary point of contact for wealth advisory firm clients using the Allocate platform. You will build and maintain long-term client relationships, understand each client’s private market investment goals, and help them effectively use Allocate’s tools to construct and manage alternative portfolios. Daily responsibilities include onboarding new clients, conducting platform walkthroughs, responding to inquiries, coordinating with internal product and operations teams, and proactively identifying ways to improve client satisfaction and retention. You will monitor client usage and feedback, prepare reports and presentations, support account growth opportunities, and ensure timely resolution of any issues related to platform features or private market workflows. This role requires consistent in-person collaboration with colleagues and occasional meetings with clients at the Menlo Park office.
Qualifications
- Client relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex private market concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Experience with technology platforms or fintech products, and comfort navigating data dashboards and workflow tools.
- Knowledge of private markets, alternative investments, or wealth management, or a strong interest in learning these domains.
- Organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with product, operations, and sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a client-facing role within financial services, asset management, or a technology company is preferred.
