Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Arizona. The Salesperson will manage and grow a territory by actively prospecting new business, nurturing existing customer relationships, and promoting manufacturers’ products and solutions in the electrical power and industrial sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person customer visits, preparing and delivering product presentations, responding to inquiries, and providing technical and commercial support to clients. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and manufacturers, tracking opportunities in a CRM system, and meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance goals. The Salesperson will represent Gorman Company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- Sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, account management, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of or interest in electrical power and industrial markets, with the ability to learn technical product details.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, both in person and in writing.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines.
- sales experience, particularly in industrial or electrical sectors, is preferred
