Role Description This full-time, on-site Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst role is based in New York, NY. The analyst will support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of real estate investments by building financial models, analyzing property and market data, and preparing investment memoranda. Daily responsibilities include conducting due diligence on prospective acquisitions and reviewing leases and operating statements. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, tracking deal pipelines, and maintaining organized documentation for active and prospective transactions. The analyst will contribute to ongoing portfolio analysis and reporting to inform investment strategy and decision making.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial and market data and draw clear conclusions.
- Experience with due diligence processes, including reviewing property financials, leases, and market research.
- Knowledge of finance and investments, with familiarity in discounted cash flow analysis, IRR, and other investment metrics.
- Understanding of real estate appraisal principles and valuation methodologies.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with real estate or financial analysis tools such as Argus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant experience in real estate or investment analysis.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
