Axion Consulting & Technology Lab is seeking a Part-Time Product Management Consultant to join our team in New York, NY. This is an on-site position offering approximately 20 hours per week.
As a Product Management Consultant, you will work closely with clients to develop product strategies, define product roadmaps, and manage products throughout the entire lifecycle—from discovery and planning to launch, optimization, and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with clients to understand business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and user discovery to support product decisions.
- Gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business and product requirements.
- Working cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver successful product outcomes.
- Preparing client presentations, product documentation, and strategic recommendations.
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and product planning sessions.
- Monitoring product performance using data and analytics while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting digital transformation initiatives and advising clients on product management best practices, AI adoption, and operational efficiency.
- Managing multiple client engagements while delivering high-quality consulting services in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications- Proven experience in Product Management, including product strategy, roadmap development, and full product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in market research, business analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in management consulting or strategic advisory with the ability to identify business challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in technology, SaaS, consulting, or related industries.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative product development methodologies is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or product management certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in New York City and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
