Job Overview
We are seeking an Full-Time energetic and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at Tolovana Inn. In this vital role, you will oversee overnight operations at our hotel, ensuring smooth financial and administrative processes while providing excellent guest service during the night shift. Your proactive approach will help maintain the safety, security, and efficiency of our property through meticulous auditing, guest relations, and operational support.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions using hotel management systems such as OPERA to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, expenses, and occupancy for management review.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during the overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Monitor security cameras and perform property inspections to uphold safety protocols and hotel emergency procedures.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records, processing payments, and maintaining accurate logs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software such as OPERA or similar systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures, hotel emergency protocols, and guest relations best practices.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environment preferred; multilingual skills are an advantage.
