Gator Fire is seeking a sprinkler designer to work in our Gainesville office. Our design department uses the Autosprink design program, if necessary, training will be provided.
As a sprinkler designer, you will:
- Work as a member of a team.
- Review, plan, and design the fire sprinkler system using drawings, schematics, and your knowledge of NFPA criteria.
- Hydraulically calculate fire sprinkler systems based on preset parameters.
- Produce submittal and permit packages completely and professionally.
- Conduct field surveys and project reviews based on the needs of the project.
- Attend coordination and project management meetings as required.
- Generate accurate stock lists and material needs.
- Meet with clients, architects, engineers, project managers and maintain the most desirable level of integrity and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum 3 Years of experience in the position of fire sprinkler designer.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design programs.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of NFPA codes and criteria.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Gator Fire will also consider training someone who knows the trade and is proficient in design and/or CAD software.
