ABOUT THE ROLE
Makeup by Mario is looking for a Social Commerce Coordinator to support the execution and growth of our social commerce strategy across platforms such as TikTok, ShopMy, LTK, and other emerging social commerce channels. This person will be responsible for scaling our presence within the affiliate community by coordinating affiliate marketing, partnerships, product seeding, and supporting affiliate-led social commerce strategies.
The ideal candidate is digitally savvy, analytical, and eager to learn the mechanics of social commerce in a fast-paced, high-growth beauty brand. This position will occasionally travel domestically up to four times a year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Affiliate Management
- Assist with and manage affiliate outreach, onboarding, and communication across social platforms
- Track affiliate performance and report on key metrics such as sales, content volume, and conversion rates, always looking for opportunities to optimize performance
- Curate product bundles and adjust commission tiers based on affiliate and campaign insights
- Maintain the affiliate database and manage gifting logistics
Product Seeding & Campaigns
- Coordinate influencer and affiliate seeding for new product launches and evergreen campaigns
- Brief affiliates and manage content timelines for product-focused campaigns
Platform & Content Operations
- Set up and optimize social platform listings and campaign assets
- Upload and organize affiliate content for internal use and paid amplification
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global marketing, social media, education, and creative teams to align on campaign strategy and execution
- Build and nurture relationships with creators, affiliates, and platform partners
- Stay up to date on platform trends, tools, and best practices across all social commerce platforms
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, or e-commerce (beauty industry preferred)
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop and other social commerce platforms is a strong plus
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail and time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for beauty, innovation, and digital culture
- A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to learn and grow within social commerce
