This position will join the R&D team that will be working on technology development and commercialization of different water vapor and CO₂ capture systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate commercial gas-phase adsorption devices
- Conduct breakthrough measurements using custom-built breakthrough devices.
- Operate analytical instruments, including gas chromatographs, mass spectrometers, and FTIR spectrometers, for gas-phase analysis.
- Perform experiments utilizing thermal gravimetric analyzers.
- Maintain a clean and organized test lab environment.
- Support commissioning and field testing of equipment.
- Provide technical support for ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
- Maintain an electronic notebook detailing all observations and measurements.
- Contribute to the intellectual property of the company by writing and participating in invention disclosures
- Perform periodic reporting to management and participate in technical meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
- Understanding phase-change phenomena, gas-phase adsorption phenomena.
- Strong understanding of industrial hardware components and electrical schematics, system P&ID.
- Proven experience in laboratory or industry setting.
- Familiarity with machine operation and control systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiar with health and safety procedures in production.
