We are currently seeking an Acquisitions Analyst – Industrial and Multifamily. Chase Properties is a Cleveland-based family office and real estate investment firm specializing in acquiring, managing, and operating existing Retail, Industrial, and Multifamily properties across the Midwest, Southeast and Texas. With over 50 years of experience, Chase Properties has over $1 billion in assets under management and has properties in 20+ states.
Our Focus
- Chase Properties focuses on identifying and acquiring opportunities that have strong in-place cash flow with upside potential. The target acquisition size for Industrial and Multifamily properties is $2-50MM in purchase price. For industrial, the focus is on well-located, quality real estate with long-term leases with annual rent escalations with tenants with strong credit. For Multifamily, the focus is on suburban garden-style or build-for-rent properties that can deliver strong current yield with attractive growth tailwinds.
Acquisitions Analyst Responsibilities
- Assist the Directors of Multifamily and Industrial Acquisitions in sourcing primarily off-market industrial and multifamily opportunities in target markets. This involves creating and maintaining relationships with principals and investment sales brokers, tracking pipeline of acquisition opportunities, and screening new deals based on Chase Properties’ investment criteria.
- Assist in evaluating new industrial and multifamily acquisition opportunities.
- Perform detailed financial analysis of development and acquisition opportunities via financial modeling, analysis of cash flows, and application of valuation methods using Excel and Argus.
- Assist with due diligence process associated with acquisition opportunities (i.e., third party reports, entitlement processes).
- Manage and maintain regional deal pipeline report and critical dates.
- Participate in the asset management of existing properties including market research, leasing, and property sales.
- Perform thorough tenant credit and property financial analysis to determine feasibility of proposed leases.
- Perform hold/sell analysis on assets to maximize portfolio performance.
- Compile operating property information for dispositions.
- Assist in the yearly operations reporting process for our Industrial and Multifamily portfolios.
- Collaborate with Operations, Capital Markets, Due Diligence, Accounting, Construction, Portfolio and Leasing teams.
- Participate in all facets of the acquisition process, including the creation and upkeep of acquisition models, preparing investment committee memos, analyzing operating expenses and capital, pulling and populating comparables, researching markets and inputting debt and leasing assumptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in real estate business, finance, economics, or related field.
- Prior business experience at a real estate investment firm or similar institution.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must.
- Proficiency in Argus Enterprise is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial models that include complex financial and waterfall analysis.
- Highly detail oriented with ability to be flexible in fast‐paced environment.
- Proactively and effectively manage and complete assignments in a high production environment.
- High drive with a desire to produce top-quality work products.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment.

Important Information about the Role
This role will be in-person in our Beachwood, OH office.
This role may require some travel to visit acquisition targets.
