Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions. This role is suitable for recent graduates and professionals with up to 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
- Work with business teams to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Develop and maintain Excel reports, SQL queries, and data dashboards.
- Support data quality checks and resolve data-related issues.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management.
- Assist in improving reporting processes and automation opportunities.
- Document data sources, reporting logic, and analysis procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, marketing, and IT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and charts.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Understanding of data cleaning, data validation, and reporting processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is preferred.
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, or business reporting systems is a plus.
- Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in data analytics is preferred for entry-level candidates.
