Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in Noida in a full-time capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and improve mechanical components and systems that support PCS’s technology and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed mechanical and machine design, developing 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools, and validating designs through simulations, calculations, and testing. The role involves participating in R&D activities to explore new materials, manufacturing methods, and design approaches that enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The Mechanical Engineer will also support project planning, documentation, and coordination with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with standards and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in mechanical systems and component design.
- Demonstrated ability in Machine Design, including selection of materials, mechanisms, and design for manufacturability.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including experimentation, data analysis, and prototype evaluation.
- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and coordination across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a systematic approach.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document designs and collaborate in a team environment.
- Experience working in technology-driven or consulting environments is an advantage.
