About the Role
We are looking for a fast, friendly, and creative multitasker to serve as the face of our brand, both online and in-store. As our Social Media Coordinator & Brand Ambassador, you will have a highly dynamic role: managing our social presence, planning and creating engaging daily content, executing digital campaigns, and interacting directly with our community.
This hybrid position is perfect for a self-directed digital marketer who thrives on variety with transitioning seamlessly from editing TikToks and managing content calendars to greeting walk-in customers and supporting in-store brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Content & Creative Production
- Content Creation: Plan, design, and publish daily engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube (including posts, stories, short-form videos, and live updates).
- Video & Graphic Design: Edit high-quality, engaging short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) and design graphics tailored to platform audiences.
- Content Calendar & Campaigns: Maintain an organized social media content calendar and support digital marketing campaigns to drive audience growth and brand awareness.
- Sourcing & UGC: Actively source high-quality User Generated Content (UGC) from the community, coordinate permissions, manage media delivery, and track contributor rewards.
- SEO & Writing: Write engaging blogs, craft clear brand messaging, and assist with basic SEO-related tasks.
2. Community Engagement & Online Support
- Inbox Management: Prioritize fast, accurate, and friendly replies to DMs, comments, and customer emails across platforms (aiming for same-day turnaround).
- Social Listening: Use tools like Brand24 to track mentions of Angelus, Lace Lab, Pecard, and sister brands. Monitor key hashtags and flag viral content or customer complaints requiring immediate attention.
- Relationship Building: Like, comment, and engage with creators and customers who tag us to strengthen brand loyalty and identify potential partnership opportunities.
- UGC Outreach: Identify happy customers to coordinate product reviews, public testimonials, and giveaway collaborations.
3. In-Store Customer Experience & Support Backup
- In-Store Representation: Warmly greet and assist walk-in customers, providing product education, recommendations, and a stellar in-person brand experience.
- Front Desk & Administrative Support: Assist with basic front-desk duties (visitors, packages, phone routing) as needed.
- Customer Service Backup: Step in to support the Customer Service Representative during high-volume periods, handling basic email/chat replies within Gorgias with speed and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in social media coordination, digital marketing, or brand representation. Experience in consumer products, fashion, art, or footwear customization is a huge plus.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and their respective publishing/analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive), Shopify (or similar CMS), and customer support platforms like Gorgias.
- A typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Creative & Communication Skills: Strong writing and communication skills with a charismatic, helpful tone. Ability to capture clean product/lifestyle imagery and edit engaging short-form video.
- Work Style: Exceptionally organized, proactive, and self-directed. Able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Location Requirement: Must be comfortable working full-time, on-site at our Santa Fe Springs, CA facility.
