This position supports the day-to-day execution of digital merchandising on the ecommerce site. This role will primarily focus on site merchandising, ensuring products, categories, promotions, and customer-facing experiences are accurately represented and optimized onsite. The Digital Merchandising Assistant will analyze performance trends, support onsite initiatives, and help ensure the site maintains an elevated shopping experience. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate product data, managing onsite content and promotions in SFCC, and ensuring the website is functional, up to date, and optimized for conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and maintain site merchandising strategies across homepage, category, landing, and promotional pages
- Merchandise products to support campaigns, launches, seasonal initiatives, and business priorities
- Manage category hierarchy, product sorting, navigation, and onsite product visibility
- Monitor onsite behavior, customer journey, conversion opportunities, and onsite search performance to identify optimization opportunities
- Manage SEO, metadata, page titles, alt text, redirects, and searchable product attributes for categories and landing pages
- Support search optimization through search queries, boosting, and synonym management
- Maintain product visibility, categorization, and online/offline status across the site
- QA site updates to ensure accurate pricing, functionality, rendering, and user experience across devices and browsers
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate site, product, pricing, or inventory issues
- Select SKUs and merchandise product assortments for email campaigns in partnership with the marketing team
- Track merchandising performance and support reporting on promotional and site initiatives
- Assist with marketplace storefronts, homepage layouts & merchandising as needed
