ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Sales Development Representative at Alosant, you'll be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a pivotal role in our sales process. Your mission is to identify and qualify leads, nurture relationships and set the stage for successful client partnerships. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest through cold discovery calls, and email campaigns
- Partner with account executive team to help generate meetings
- Effectively communicate value propositions that address pain points of potential clients
- Build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
- Create and prioritize target accounts and contact lists.
- Discover new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Strategic Searching
- Meet weekly/monthly metrics (meetings, qualified opportunities, new contacts, etc.) on a consistent basis
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Direct 1:1 working relationship with designated Account Executive
- Collaboration with Marketing
RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Education and Experience
- BA degree or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales development associate or inside sales role, preferably in an Saas environment

- Strong Communication and listening skills, with a positive approach
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Highly motivated and willing to assume accountability for generating new business
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities on a regular basis
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly and work effectively across internal teams
- High level of professionalism and business acumen
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
- Cold Calling experience desired

Equipment and Software:
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite, including Sheets, Docs, Meetings, and Slides required - or equivalent
- Familiarity with Hubspot (CRM) and Apollo (outreach management software) - or equivalent
