Role & Responsibilities:
Argentum is seeking an Associate to join our investment team in Q4 2026. The Associate will be a core part of our small team and be involved in every aspect of the investment lifecycle, from sourcing investment opportunities, to managing due diligence processes, and supporting the firm’s existing portfolio companies. This role comes with promotion opportunities for strong performers.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting market research on areas of investment interest
- Screening and outreach to prospective investments
- Developing bottoms-up financial and valuation models
- Managing the due diligence process of potential new investments
- Writing investment memos and completing accompanying analyses
- Supporting portfolio companies across functional areas (e.g. finance, operations, etc.)

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school with a record of academic achievement
- Minimum of two years of work experience (i.e. investment banking, consulting, venture capital / private equity, private credit, independent sponsor, start-up operations, etc.)
- Interest in sourcing (including market research, cold outreach, attending conferences, etc.)
- Interest in business services and tech-enabled sectors
- Comfort with financial modeling and familiarity with investment due diligence / analysis
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with compressed deadlines
- Self-starter with ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 per year plus a performance based bonus. Final compensation will be commensurate with experience
