Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Sigma360 | New York City (Hybrid — 3–4 days in office/week)
The Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Sigma360, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth engine. You’ll drive new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and engaging decision-makers across financial institutions, corporates, and government agencies. Your role is essential to building the top of our sales funnel, qualifying opportunities, and partnering with Account Executives to move deals forward.
This is a chance to take on real impact and responsibility from day one — helping bring new clients onto the Sigma360 platform. You’ll develop outreach strategies, sharpen your sales skills, and learn directly from a seasoned team of risk-intelligence and RegTech sales leaders.
At Sigma360, your work directly fuels our mission: helping the world’s financial institutions, corporates, and governments convert data into actionable insight so they can better manage risk to their credibility and reputation.
Responsibilities
- Proactively generate top-of-funnel opportunities through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting methods
- Research and identify target accounts — financial institutions, corporates, and government agencies — that align with Sigma360’s ideal customer profile
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring high-quality opportunities are passed to Account Executives
- Collaborate with Account Executives to support the sales cycle and drive revenue growth
- Maintain clean, accurate records in the CRM, tracking pipeline activity and outreach metrics
- Experiment with messaging and outreach strategies to maximize engagement with prospective clients
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for qualified opportunities created and pipeline generated
- Maintain a high daily outreach cadence: approximately 120 cold calls/day, 200 outreach emails/day, and 200 LinkedIn connection requests/week
About You
- Based in the New York City area and able to work hybrid, in our office 3–4 days per week
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or sales development (financial services, RegTech, or SaaS a plus), ideally with some familiarity with AWS, complex data environments, or data/AI compliance concepts; strong candidates without direct experience are also encouraged to apply
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging senior executives at financial institutions, corporates, and government agencies, and sustaining a high daily activity volume (calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple outreach sequences simultaneously
- High resilience and persistence in building relationships and overcoming objections
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to craft compelling outreach messages
- Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and excited to grow into a future sales role
- Entrepreneurial spirit — thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in an additional language (Spanish preferred) a strong plus for prospecting and holding conversations across U.S. and LatAm accounts
- Genuine curiosity about AI — comfortable using tools like Claude and Gemini to research accounts, draft outreach, and work more efficiently, and eager to keep learning new AI-driven workflows
- Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and vertical hunting — building targeted account lists within specific industries/verticals rather than relying on broad, spray-and-pray outreach
- Solid understanding of the SDR process end-to-end: prospecting, qualifying, booking meetings, and handing off cleanly to Account Executives
- Focus and experience prospecting into mid-market and enterprise accounts, comfortable navigating longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Hands-on familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and data-enrichment/prospecting tools like Clay is a plus
- Comfortable speaking to prospects across a range of verticals, including retail/merchandise, aerospace, manufacturing, wealth and asset management (WAM), law, crypto, and neobanks
Tech Stack You’ll Use
You’ll work daily with Apollo for prospecting, contact data, outreach sequencing, and workflow automations; Nooks for parallel dialing, call coaching, and conversation intelligence; Claude and Gemini as AI assistants for account research, message drafting, and productivity; Loom for recording personalized video outreach and async follow-ups; Zapier for connecting tools and automating repetitive prospecting workflows; a CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) for pipeline tracking and reporting; LinkedIn Sales Navigator for social prospecting and account intelligence; and Clay for data enrichment and building targeted prospect lists.
