About the Role
We're looking for an entrepreneurial, self-motivated Sales Development Representative to join us at an exciting stage of growth. This is an outbound-first role for someone who takes initiative without waiting to be told, solves problems on their own, and manages their own day. Your core job is prospecting, breaking into accounts that have never heard of us and building a quality pipeline. You’ll run discovery, and occasionally a demo, to move the best conversations forward. We expect you to use AI tools to prospect smarter and scale your output. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to senior leadership and a clear path to grow as the company scales. Important note: this role is onsite 3-5 days/week in Teaneck, NJ.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify ideal prospects using sales intelligence tools and databases
- Run multi-channel outreach campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, and video
- Qualify inbound leads and move them through the pipeline into sales opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls and product demos to understand prospect needs
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM with detailed notes on activity and status
- Partner with marketing on campaign performance and lead scoring
- Hit and exceed monthly activity targets in a high-volume outreach environment
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, or a strong track record that demonstrates you can do the job
- A self-starter - entrepreneurial, takes initiative, solves problems independently, and manages their own priorities and pipeline without heavy oversight
- An early adopter who embraces AI, you actively use AI tools to prospect, personalize, and work faster, and you’re quick to pick up whatever new tools give you an edge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort on video calls
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
- Thrives in a high-volume outreach environment and brings a resilient, positive mindset
- Strong research and qualification instincts with sharp attention to detail
- Available to work hybrid — at least 3 days/week onsite in the Teaneck, NJ area
Preferences
- Previous SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Active LinkedIn presence and comfort with social selling
- Familiarity with sales analytics and performance reporting
