This position will be instrumental in supporting revenue growth while ensuring every client and audience touchpoint reflects the quality of our brand.
Position OverviewWe’re looking for a highly organized, creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Coordinator to support our growing sales, marketing and events business.
This role will play a critical part in developing sales and marketing materials, executing premium live experiences, and ensuring flawless delivery of sponsor programs and branded initiatives.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is a creative thinker and enjoys working across multiple disciplines, from design and event production to sales support and client service and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial media company.
This position will collaborate closely with Sales, Editorial, Design and Operations to help drive revenue growth on all platforms while maintaining The Ankler’s premium brand standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Sales & Marketing Support- Create and update media kits, sponsorship decks, one-sheets and client presentations.
- Develop custom marketing materials for advertiser proposals, branded content programs and experiential opportunities.
- Design sales collateral, digital assets and promotional materials that support revenue initiatives.
- Assist in creating marketing campaigns promoting newsletters, podcasts, custom video, editorial franchises and live events.
- Maintain presentation templates, brand assets and marketing resources.
Events & Experiential- Coordinate all logistical aspects of curated sponsor dinners, screenings, panels, summits, and advertiser activations.
- Manage guest lists, invitations, RSVPs and attendee communications.
- Coordinate venues, catering, production vendors, photographers and event partners.
- Prepare production timelines, run-of-show documents, speaker briefings and sponsor deliverables.
- Provide on-site event support, including registration, sponsor fulfillment and talent hospitality.
- Possible travel.
Sponsorship & Client Programs- Help execute custom advertising and sponsorship programs from contract through completion.
- Track client deliverables, approvals, timelines and production schedules.
- Coordinate branded content assets with editorial, design and production teams.
- Prepare post-event recap reports including attendance, photography, social engagement and sponsor metrics.
Project Management- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
- Coordinate creative requests.
- Maintain project timelines and marketing calendars.
- Assist with vendor management, invoices and event budgets.
- Organize marketing assets and maintain internal project documentation.
QualificationsJob Requirements- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, media, advertising or entertainment.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail based on Ankler standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $72,000–$75,000 annually, plus benefits.
