Role Overview
Newmarket is seeking a full-time Investor Relations and Marketing Analyst to help drive and support our investor engagement and marketing initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of finance, communications, business development, and emerging technology, with direct exposure to senior leadership and the Firm’s institutional investor base.
The individual will work closely with senior team members across Investor Relations, Marketing, and Operations to help manage and enhance the Firm’s investor communications, marketing collateral, and digital presence.
The role also requires developing working knowledge of Newmarket’s private credit, structured credit, and SRT strategies to help translate portfolio, performance, and market information into clear investor-facing materials.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Philadelphia office, with an immediate start date subject to background checks and onboarding. This role offers a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus eligibility, and a full benefits package, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
The individual will contribute to a broad range of activities, including but not limited to:
• Coordinate responses to inbound investor, consultant, and prospect inquiries, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, timely, and appropriately reviewed.
• Manage the Firm’s data room, including user access, content organization, and ensuring materials are up to date.
• Maintain and enhance the Firm’s approved content library, including standard RFP/DDQ responses, Firm statistics, strategy descriptions, performance language, disclosures, and review-cycle tracking.
• Maintain and organize the Firm’s CRM system (DealCloud or similar).
• Drive content creation and management across the Firm’s website, investor portal, and social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn).
• Manage IR and marketing deliverables from request intake through final approval, including timeline tracking, stakeholder coordination, version control, compliance review, and final distribution.
• Participate in the planning and logistics of investor events, conferences, and marketing initiatives.
• Manage consultant database submissions, responses, and ongoing updates.
• Prepare RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and investment and operational due diligence materials for prospective and existing investors.
• Support the preparation and quality control of quarterly investor communications, customized investor reports, portfolio/performance updates, and written market or strategy commentary.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure all investor-facing materials are accurate, current, and compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the broader team on AI initiatives — helping identify and translate IR-side data needs into workflows where AI can meaningfully augment the team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a demonstrated foundation in financial markets, communications, and institutional investing.
• Ability to synthesize complex investment, portfolio, and market information into clear, polished, investor-ready written materials.
• High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential investor, portfolio, transaction, and fundraising information.
• 1–3 years of prior experience in asset management, investor relations, or a related institutional finance role.
• Comfort using approved AI tools in a controlled, source-verified, human-reviewed manner to improve drafting, editing, summarization, and workflow efficiency.
• Proficiency in a windows based platform for Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus. Experience with graphic design and a keen eye for developing design ideas within the Microsoft suite (e.g., slide layouts, templates, charts) are a strong plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be a self-starter, self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a professional environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong multitasking abilities and a commitment to accuracy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
