Role Description This is a full-time, remote Business Development Executive role based in TEXAS. The Business Development Executive will generate new business by prospecting, qualifying leads, and presenting TEL’s Fleet Leasing solutions to commercial customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person and phone meetings, preparing proposals and quotes, negotiating terms, and closing deals in alignment with company policies and revenue targets. The role will collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations, credit, and customer solutions to ensure smooth onboarding, accurate documentation, and high-quality customer experiences. The Business Development Executive will also maintain a structured sales pipeline, track activity in CRM tools, monitor market trends, and represent TEL at industry events and customer visits as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in equipment leasing, trucking, logistics, or related commercial services.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing, with the ability to manage a full sales cycle.
- Solid business acumen, including understanding of financing, leasing structures, and ROI for commercial equipment investments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with both for-hire and private fleets, and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, basic office software, and digital tools to track pipeline, forecast results, and report activity.
- Self-directed work style with strong organization, time management, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with on-site customer visits, occasional travel, and engaging in field-based sales activities.
- Bachelor’s degree is required preferrably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
