We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II with experience in mechanical testing, product development, and troubleshooting to support electric drive component and system testing. This role involves developing test plans, executing performance and durability testing, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for electric drive components and systems.
- Perform performance and durability testing in a laboratory environment.
- Research, design, develop, and test mechanical products and equipment.
- Analyze test data, summarize results, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems, test stands, controls, and equipment issues.
- Coordinate DUT (Device Under Test) modifications, instrumentation, and installation.
- Assist with engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, controls, simulation, and facility engineering.
- Lead weekly project update meetings and document technical findings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering.
- 2–4 years of engineering experience (internships considered).
- Experience with mechanical testing and product development.
- Strong mechanical system troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Experience with CAD software and engineering applications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
