Associate Designer, Women's Suiting - NY (Hybrid)
Scope: 3-month w2 contract with potential to extend or convert, full-time 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate Range: $40 to $49 per hour

What You'll Do
- Research global markets to uncover emerging seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, techniques, product categories, and competitive inspiration
- Help develop concepts and sketches for the seasonal product line, and advocate for design ideas by presenting to internal leadership and cross-functional partners
- Build strong relationships with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing to ensure a seamless experience from concept to store and site
- Partner with Production to create tech packs and communicate the vision behind fit and product design, ensuring execution, quality, and margin targets are met
- Ask effective questions and solicit feedback to fully understand project needs
- Complete structured assignments, including attending fit sessions with your manager and revising sketches and design packages based on priorities
- Manage administrative follow-up of the product design process, including presentation board creation, to keep the team organized and on schedule
- Juggle multiple seasons at once while tracking development deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
What You Bring
- An elevated sense of style, aesthetic, and color, with the ability to translate trends through the lens of the customer and brand
- Thorough knowledge of silhouette, fit, fabrication, construction, color, sewing techniques, and trim, with applied knowledge of garment construction
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
- A sharp eye for spotting and acting on inconsistencies in data or results
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working across multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
