JumpOff is an AI advisory and transformation firm. We take enterprises, financial sponsors, and lower-middle-market operators from AI ambition to realized business outcomes through strategy, delivery, and workforce training. Our clients are the leaders carrying an AI mandate: transformation, operations, L&D, and portfolio-operations executives who need adoption to hold after the program ends.
We are hiring a Founder's Associate. You would work alongside the founder with no fixed remit, taking on whatever most needs an owner. In practice that means sitting in on client and partner conversations, turning what comes out of them into work that gets done, and building the systems the firm runs on.
A meaningful share of the role is client-facing. The scope rotates. In a given month you might be shaping a proposal, co-facilitating a workshop, redesigning how delivery gets scheduled, and handling something well below your level, because at this stage someone has to.
What you would do
- Work at the founder's side across client, partner, and firm-building work, with priorities that shift month to month
- Turn conversations into execution: proposals, follow-ups, client deliverables, and the commitments that come out of a meeting
- Build and run the internal systems the firm operates on
- Coordinate delivery across engagements: staffing, scheduling, and quality
- Co-facilitate AI enablement workshops for enterprise and portfolio-company audiences
- Run recurring support sessions for client teams applying AI to their real work, and prepare the materials behind them
- Support advisory engagements, including process mapping and AI workflow redesign
Why this role
- Sit at the founder's side on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market, not three levels down a workstream
- Operate at the leading edge of enterprise AI adoption across many industries, functions, and company sizes at once
- Become a certified AI practitioner inside of frontier AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot
- Own outcomes end to end
- Compress years of exposure to AI transformation into months by working across many clients
Requirements
- 3+ years somewhere that demanded rigor and client-ready output: consulting, private equity, investment banking, corporate strategy or transformation, a startup operating or chief-of-staff seat, or military leadership
- Strong written communication
- Comfort in front of senior audiences, client-facing or internal
- Daily user of mainstream AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or equivalent), with a clear point of view on where they create value and where they fall short today
- Habit of staying current on the AI tooling landscape: new models, features, agentic workflows, and enterprise rollouts
- Judgment about what deserves your attention when four things are urgent and one of them matters
- Discretion. You would have visibility into client, partner, and firm-level information
- Comfort with ambiguity and with unglamorous work. The same person books the travel and presents to the client
- US-based, eligible to work in the US, based in Atlanta or working on Eastern Time
Preferred
- Facilitation, training, or workshop delivery experience, formal or informal
- Exposure to private equity, portfolio operations, or owner-operated businesses
- Hands-on building with AI tools: custom GPTs, Claude Projects, prompt libraries, automations, or light scripting
- Operations, recruiting, or internal systems experience
Not required
- An MBA
- AI engineering, ML, or LLM development background
- Formal teaching or L&D credentials
- Prior training delivery experience
