An engineering degree is not required. We are looking for someone with enough technical education and industrial aptitude to understand automation equipment and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, engineers, plant managers, purchasing departments, and business owners.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing new customers and expanding relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect manufacturing plants and industrial customers
- Identify automation, controls, retrofit, and service opportunities
- Visit customer facilities and manufacturing plants
- Build relationships with maintenance managers, engineers, plant managers, purchasing departments, and company leadership
- Conduct initial discovery conversations with customers
- Gather project information and customer requirements
- Coordinate with Renasci engineering personnel to develop solutions and proposals
- Follow up on quotations and open opportunities
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline
- Generate new customer accounts
- Expand business within existing customer accounts
- Maintain customer relationships after projects are completed
- Track opportunities and customer activity within the company's CRM system
- Meet quarterly and annual sales objectives
This position does not require the salesperson to design or program automation systems independently. Our company’s engineering team will provide technical support for complex applications and project development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in one of the following or a related technical field:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with technical and non-technical customers

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to customer facilities throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area
- Ability to occasionally travel elsewhere within the United States

Candidates coming from an industrial maintenance, mechatronics, automation technician, electrical technician, or similar technical background who are interested in transitioning into technical sales are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Base Salary: $45,000–$50,000 per year. Plus, Uncapped Commission
Commission is performance-based and rewards both new customer acquisition and profitable account growth.
There is no commission cap.
High-performing representatives will have the opportunity to earn substantially more as they develop their territory.
