Position Overview
As a Financial Advisor at Cornerstone Advisory Group, you’ll play a critical role in managing and growing client relationships. This role combines strategic financial planning with a tax-focused approach to help clients achieve their personal and business financial goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with our lead advisor to gain hands on experience through direct mentorship. Over time, you will take on increased responsibility for managing existing firm relationships, developing new client relationships, and helping expand the firm's client base.
Success in this role is defined by providing thoughtful, ethical client guidance, building tailored financial strategies, and expanding our market presence by growing the firm's client base.
What You'll Do
Develop and deliver comprehensive financial plans tailored to client needs, including personal and business financial planning.
Ensure seamless service continuity by acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and time-sensitive operational tasks when other advisors are unavailable.
Provide expertise across key financial areas, such as:
- Investment management
- Retirement planning
- Estate planning and real estate analysis
- Insurance evaluation
- Employee benefits review
- Tax analysis and planning
- Cash flow and debt management
Educate clients to empower informed financial decision-making.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients by providing consistent, proactive communication and exceptional service.
Collaborate with team members during weekly staff meetings to improve processes and support firm initiatives.
Contribute to the firm’s growth by participating in strategic planning, marketing efforts, and service enhancements.
What You Should Bring to the Table
Experience: Minimum of 1 year managing client relationships and 3 years in financial planning
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 66 required; Life and Health insurance licenses required; CFP® designation preferred
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first attitude.
- Experience with financial planning tools is required.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing client portfolios
- Tax planning experience preferred.
