RESPONSIBILITIES and REQUIREMENTS:
Design and build machinery/fixtures for manufacturing products in the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.
Develop and optimize work cells and instructions for production of parts/complex assemblies.
Use of 3D printers. CNC machines, and hand tools to create original designs.
Responsible for DFM reviews of customer supplied product designs.
Knowledge of tooling design/machine setup for hot plate welding, ultrasonic welding,
vibration welding, and pressure decay testing.
Machinery diagnosis and repair.
Working with injection molding, assembly, and quality control departments to identify and solve production and prototype problems.
Research and develop new and unique processes to solve production and prototype problems.
CAD (Solidworks, Creo, Autocad, Mastercam).
3dPrinting (and relevant software)-FDM and SLA.
Mechanical and electrical design and assembly.
Basic hand tool experience.
Basic electrical knowledge (switches, relays, timers, etc.)
Microsoft Office.
Degree in Engineering or related field not required but is a plus. Can substitute education for relevant experience and skills.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
