Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Duties
- Develop comprehensive civil engineering designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software to produce schematics, detailed drawings, and construction documents.
- Manage all phases of project lifecycle including planning, permitting, design engineering, construction management, and close-out activities.
- Conduct hydrological modeling and hydraulic analysis utilizing tools such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, Mathcad, Hydrologic analysis tools, and GIS platforms like ArcGIS and GIS-based software to optimize stormwater systems.
- Oversee construction inspection processes to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Prepare technical engineering reports that detail project scope, analysis results, system design considerations, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies during the permitting phase to secure necessary approvals efficiently.
- Lead project scheduling efforts to ensure timely completion while managing resources effectively across multiple projects.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review and collaboration during design development and construction phases.
- Apply geotechnical engineering principles for foundation design and soil stability assessments related to civil infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on land surveying activities and system design integration for complex infrastructure projects.
Experience
- Proven experience managing civil engineering projects within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong background in civil infrastructure design including stormwater management systems, water treatment facilities, pipelines, and hydraulics systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation; GIS platforms including ArcGIS; hydrological modeling tools like SWMM; and project scheduling software.
- Demonstrated ability in construction management including site inspections and technical oversight during construction phases.
- Experience in technical report generation detailing hydrologic analysis results or system design specifications.
- Familiarity with permitting processes involving local authorities or regulatory agencies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles relevant to civil infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay: $81,942.09 - $150,000.00 per year
