Traffic Control Designer
Pro Traffic Services, Inc. is the gold standard in the traffic control, safety, and engineering industry. We perform precise engineering design for most of the major utility infrastructure projects handled by the electrical, water, and construction companies. We are headquartered in San Diego County with multiple locations in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange County that performs work throughout California.
We have an incredible opportunity for full-time Traffic Control Designers in one of our many locations to an eventual remote position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Utilize AutoCAD to perform moderate drafting tasks.
· Read, interpret, and analyze civil drawings, field notes, survey information, utility maps and other mapping reference materials to prepare base maps.
· Read, interpret, and revise traffic plans to create preliminary design drawings in AutoCAD.
· Performs various field duties including traveling to job sites to verify locations of curbs, driveways, utilities, buildings, structures, etc.
· Prepare temporary traffic control plans using MUTCD, CJUTCM, and ADA Compliancy
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma required.
· Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience using one or more versions of AutoCAD software.
· Knowledge of traffic control, and utilities a plus, but not a requirement
· Clean driving record
