Role Overview
As a TikTok Live Host – Sports & Athletic Apparel at Platinum Commerce, you will be the on-camera face of our sports and athletic apparel brand partners' live shopping streams. You will engage viewers in real time, drive product discovery, and convert sports fans and active audiences into buyers. This is a high-energy, performance-driven role built for natural communicators who know the game, know the gear, and thrive in front of a camera.
Responsibilities
- Host live TikTok Shop sessions for sports and athletic brands, presenting products with energy, authority, and confidence
- Demonstrate sports items and apparel on camera through try-ons, fit and sizing breakdowns, and explanations of fabric, performance features, and use cases (training, game day, lifestyle)
- Drive viewer engagement through live Q&A, product demonstrations, and real-time audience interaction
- Follow brand guidelines and product talking points prepared by our content and operations teams
- Maintain a consistent, professional on-camera presence throughout your scheduled shift
- Collaborate with the Live Ops team to optimize stream performance and hit GMV targets
Requirements
- Genuine passion for and knowledge of sports and athletic apparel - you can speak credibly about performance wear, fits, and current trends
- Proven experience hosting TikTok Shop live streams
- Experience using TikTok Streamer Desktop
- Comfortable and confident on camera
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to think on your feet in a live environment
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work on-site in Van Nuys, with occasional shifts in Beverly Hills
- Professional, punctual, and coachable - you take direction well and iterate quickly
Nice to Have
- Background as an athlete, coach, trainer, or in sports retail
- Existing social following in the sports or fitness space
Pay: $22-75 per hr.
Location: VAN NUYS, CA (primary) / BEVERLY HILLS, CA (occasional)
Pay: $22.00 - $75.00 per hour
