Overview
Green New Energy Materials is seeking a dynamic and strategic Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive growth through high-impact business alliances across the clean energy and advanced materials ecosystem.
In this pivotal role, you will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with customers, manufacturers, technology providers, distributors, research institutions, and other industry stakeholders. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, accelerating commercial opportunities, and building long-term relationships that support the adoption of innovative energy materials and solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong business development expertise with a deep understanding of B2B partnerships, complex sales cycles, and emerging clean energy markets. You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, technical, operations, and legal teams to translate strategic opportunities into measurable business results.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and develop new strategic partnership opportunities across the clean energy, battery, energy storage, renewable energy, advanced materials, and related industrial markets.
- Build and execute partnership strategies aligned with Green New Energy Materials’ growth objectives, market priorities, and product portfolio.
- Prospect and engage potential customers, strategic partners, technology companies, manufacturers, distributors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to create long-term commercial opportunities and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Lead partnership discussions from initial outreach and qualification through commercial negotiations, contracting, launch, and ongoing relationship management.
- Negotiate and close complex, high-value agreements, including strategic supply, distribution, technology, channel, and commercial partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product development, technical, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
- Manage the full partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, evaluation, onboarding, performance management, expansion, and renewal.
- Work with technical and product teams to understand customer requirements and translate market needs into actionable business opportunities.
- Develop joint go-to-market initiatives, customer programs, industry events, and marketing campaigns that increase brand visibility and generate qualified business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitive developments, customer needs, and emerging technologies within the clean energy and advanced materials sectors.
- Use Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms to manage pipelines, track engagement, maintain accurate partnership records, and analyze business development performance.
- Establish and track partnership KPIs, including pipeline development, revenue contribution, customer acquisition, engagement, and partnership growth.
- Represent Green New Energy Materials at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and strategic networking events.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships into new customers, applications, geographies, and market segments.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or commercial growth, preferably within clean energy, advanced materials, manufacturing, chemicals, batteries, energy storage, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience developing and closing complex B2B partnerships and high-value commercial agreements.
- Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales and partnership cycles involving technical, commercial, procurement, and executive decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of the clean energy and/or advanced materials ecosystem, including relevant customers, applications, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Experience working with manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, technology companies, or other industrial customers and partners is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce, Salesforce Cloud, or comparable CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic pipelines and convert market opportunities into commercial relationships.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences, including engineers, product leaders, procurement teams, executives, and strategic partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, operate independently, and move initiatives from concept to execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and strategic-planning skills, with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable business strategies.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and partner engagements.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
