Position SummaryWe are seeking an on-site
Controller in
Coppell, TX to lead our financial operations, accounting, payroll, and HR functions. Reporting to the
CEO, this role balances hands-on technical execution with strategic executive leadership to ensure robust internal controls and comprehensive cost accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- FinancialCost Accounting: Direct close cycles (GAAP); manage standard costs, WIP, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- FP&ASystems: Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, CapEx ROI analysis, and act as the core process owner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- ComplianceHR: Manage multi-state tax compliance, coordinate external audits, oversee full-cycle payroll processing, and guide HR policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (5+ years in management).
- Hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with a major ERP system.
- Background presenting financial data to executive leadership or lenders.
- Preferred: Active CPA; experience with Dynamics 365; background in aviation or regulated aerospace manufacturing.
