Image One Radiology is seeking an experienced MRI Program Consultant to support the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our MRI program. This individual will work closely with physicians, leadership, and imaging staff to strengthen operations, optimize imaging quality, and support safe, efficient patient care, including cardiac MRI services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess MRI operations and recommend improvements to workflows, scheduling, and patient throughput.
- Support program development, including equipment planning, resource needs, and implementation of new services.
- Collaborate with physicians and technologists to develop and refine MRI protocols, including cardiac imaging.
- Provide guidance on MRI safety, patient screening, quality assurance, and accreditation readiness.
- Train and mentor imaging staff on protocols, equipment use, and best practices.
- Monitor program performance and recommend strategies to improve image quality, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Coordinate with leadership and equipment vendors to address technical and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience, with leadership, consulting, or program development experience.
- Cardiac MRI experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and quality standards.
- Experience supporting staff training and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification preferred.
