Role – Mechanical Design Engineer
Location – San Diego, CA (Onsite)

Job Description:
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on engineering requirements.
- Create and modify detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Perform mechanical design analysis, tolerance analysis, and design optimization.
- Develop concepts, prototypes, and production-ready mechanical designs.
- Work with materials, fasteners, bearings, brackets, enclosures, sheet metal, machined and molded components.
- Apply GD&T, DFM/DFA, and engineering standards to mechanical designs.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in product development and validation activities.
- Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, systems, and engineering teams.
- Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and design verification.
- Identify design issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, specifications, and revision-controlled drawings.
- Work with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve production and quality issues.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, safety, cost, and manufacturability requirements
