Product Design Engineer
Location: Concord, NC Compensation: $65,000 / year
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-site)
The Role
Our client, an established engineering manufacturer specializing in fluid connection systems, custom tubing, and electrical harnesses, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer. In this role, you will lead product creation and process design, developing reliable components for demanding industrial and performance applications.
What You Will Do
- Develop innovative product and process design solutions, conduct testing, and analyze systems to meet timing, cost, and reliability targets.
- Draft manufacturing standards, research new technologies to enhance product functionality, and collaborate directly with clients on custom specs.
- Assist with hands-on product assembly, build prototypes, and perform prototype testing.
- Maintain and implement procedures in accordance with internal Quality Management Systems (QMS).
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with or exposure to Quality Management Systems implementation and maintenance.
- Strong complex problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning skills, and mechanical/electrical assembly dexterity.
