Procon Engineering Inc, a Mechanical/Electrical engineering, Design and consulting firm in Miami, Florida is looking for an experienced dynamic and hard working Electrical Design Engineer who loves his/her profession to join our Engineering team. In this role, You will be analyzing, Engineering and designing Electric Power Systems for Data Centers, Telecommunications Facilities and large commercial and institutional buildings.
Develop detailed electrical power system designs using AUTOCAD software to create detailed power system drawings.
Perform Power Studies Short circuit, Arc flash and coordination studies using Easy Power softwares.
Apply NEC and NFPA standards to ensure designs comply with Building Dept and client requirements.
Site investigation to document existing power systems in existing buildings in order to upgrade, modify and upsize them.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Proven minimum 4 years of Electric Power System Design experience with an engineering design/ consulting firm in the USA.
Extensive knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
Fluent knowledge of analysis tools such as Easy Power software
Very fluent with Fire Alarm Systems and NFPA 72

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications
Candidate must have a valid US working permit.
Relocation expenses will not be compensated.
