LD Finish Custom Closets is seeking a creative, motivated, and customer-focused Designer & Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy interior design, space planning, sales, and helping clients bring their vision to life.
As a Designer & Sales Consultant, you will work directly with homeowners to create customized storage and organization solutions that enhance the functionality and beauty of their homes. Every project is unique, allowing you to combine creativity, problem-solving, and sales skills to deliver exceptional results.
What You'll Do:
- Meet with clients in their homes to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle
- Design custom solutions for closets, home offices, entertainment centers, pantries, garages, laundry rooms, wall units, and more
- Create design concepts and present recommendations to clients
- Generate sales through professional consultations and relationship building
- Manage your schedule and appointments effectively
- Develop new business through referrals, repeat clients, networking, and social media opportunities
- Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide an exceptional customer experience from consultation through project completion
Qualifications:
- Sales experience preferred (home improvement, interior design, cabinetry, furniture, or related industries)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and organization
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Ability to build rapport and close sales
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning design software
- Interior design experience is a plus but not required
