Manufacturing Engineer, Die Casting and Foundry

Design tooling, automate production, and own projects end to end at a market-leading plant investing heavily in new capital equipment.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Manufacturing engineering in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Tooling design experience with SolidWorks
- Automation experience with robotics and PLCs
- Project management experience running projects start to finish
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
What You'll Do
- Design production tooling and processes for new and existing products
- Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, fixturing, and gauging
- Drive productivity improvements with Lean tools, root cause analysis, and DOE
- Run FMEAs and design for manufacturability reviews
- Create work instructions and spare and critical parts inventories
Nice-to-Haves
- Zinc or high pressure aluminum die casting, stamping, plating, or finishing
- Foundry experience
- Plastic injection molding considered
