Sales Development Representative
Location: Chicago HQ or home office
Reports to: Vice President of Sales
About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. This crucial prospect / customer facing role will be instrumental in driving our growth and success by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities. You will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, nurturing relationships and setting the stage for our sales team to convert leads into successful customers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Effectively communicate INFI's value proposition, product vision and service capabilities to prospects
Evangelize both internally and externally in support of Sales goals and targets
Qualify inbound leads by conducting thorough discovery to gather key information to understand their challenges and to vet whether leads meet qualification criteria to be passed on to a Sales Executive
Nurture existing leads to drive progression through the sales cycle
Conduct rigorous market research and analysis to identify potential prospects for targeted outreach campaigns
Develop detailed profiles for ideal customer segments to tailor messaging and conduct high-volume prospecting (via email, phone calls, social media, and other channels) to initiate conversations and maintain active engagement to nurture relationships
Utilize automation tools to streamline sales sequences and enhance outreach campaigns to continually build the sales pipeline
Own all follow-up for leads generated from company-sponsored events and industry conferences to nurture relationships with potential customers
Maintain an organized pipeline and follow-up processes using HubSpot to ensure all sales leads are making their way through the pipeline properly
Track and report on key metrics such as response rates, conversion rates, and pipeline growth
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position INFI’s solutions
Be an INFI solution expert to effectively communicate value propositions and answer prospects' questions
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies and targeted campaigns for lead generation and conversion
Skills and Qualifications
Business - know how INFI works; know the competition and how to position INFI
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with prospects and convey the value of our solutions
Self-motivated and extremely ambitious, with a drive to achieve targets
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple leads, outreach campaigns and tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with CRM tools (we use HubSpot), marketing applications, and sales engagement tools
Previous experience in a fast-growing, fast-paced startup environment
Bachelor’s degree.
OTE - $75,000 to $125,000 per year
