We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support its expanding investment operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals in finance and investment, with direct exposure to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical proficiency, financial insight, and a proactive mindset to help optimize systems and workflows across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage core trading system functions, including trade entry, data validation, and system updates using Aladdin and Bloomberg.
- Coordinate with investment and accounting teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new portfolios and counterparties.
- Monitor daily trading activity, pricing, and collateral movements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as an internal expert on Aladdin, promoting consistency and best practices across teams.
- Oversee daily cash operations and support liquidity monitoring for portfolio managers.
- Streamline data integration between platforms and identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Maintain operational documentation and support trade lifecycle oversight.
- Track vendor relationships and manage related expenses and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in investment operations, financial systems, or business analysis.
- Familiarity with trading platforms (Aladdin preferred) and financial data tools.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Python, SQL, or VBA is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and with senior stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and a collaborative approach.
