Role Overview: The Social Media Specialist will play a central role in shaping and executing the content-driven marketing strategy for Christin Marie Studio. This role combines a sharp eye for storytelling with an understanding of platform trends, digital performance, and campaign strategy. With a strong emphasis on TikTok and Instagram, the specialist will own content planning, creation, and publishing — ensuring that CMS maintains a consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned digital presence. This is an ideal position for a proactive creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Content Development & Execution
- Develop, manage, and maintain a strategic content calendar across all platforms, aligning with key brand moments, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and live events.
- Individually plan, create, and publish approximately 40 short-form video assets per week, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram. These 40 assets will go towards achieving our team goal of 80-100 video assets per week.
- Have to be comfortable being incorporated into the content and will act as an extension/personality of the brand.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling across all content, adapting tone as needed for each platform.
- Collaborate with the Creative Team and internal teams to ensure all content reflects the studio’s values, aesthetics, and real-time priorities.
Platform & Campaign Support
- Coordinate the execution of weekly and monthly campaign rollouts — including content schedules, product highlights, and promotional messaging.
- Support TikTok Shop campaigns with pre- and post-live content (2–4 videos for each phase), spotlighting hero SKUs and new releases.
- Help develop promotional narratives and content to support digital activations, affiliate campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
- Repurpose and optimize content for use across paid ad channels and Shopify updates, in coordination with the marketing and creative teams.
Trend & Performance Awareness
- Actively research and apply emerging trends on TikTok, Instagram, and within the fashion/jewelry space to keep content fresh, relevant, and competitive.
- Monitor content performance and report on engagement metrics, growth trends, and content output consistency.
- Translate performance insights into content strategy adjustments and new creative directions.
Visual Asset Development
- Capture key CMS moments using the brand content phone at campaign shoots, studio sessions, events, and behind-the-scenes experiences.
- Collaborate with creative leads to generate high-quality visuals and storytelling assets that support CMS’s brand positioning.
- Ensure brand-aligned graphics and visual elements are included in all live, social, and promotional content.
Affiliate Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key affiliates.
- Ensure affiliates are updated on product drops, promos, events, and key affiliates have needed samples.
- Manage and grow our Discord affiliate community, sharing best practices and top-performing content.
- Identify and support top affiliates with early access, recognition, and content ideas.
- Work cross-functionally to align affiliates with marketing campaigns and content calendars.
- Monitor affiliate content for brand alignment and performance.
- Track and report on affiliate performance and growth opportunities.
- Recruit and onboard new affiliates that align with the CMS brand.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized content and asset library for use across digital platforms.
- Participate in weekly planning and brainstorm meetings for marketing campaigns, content series, and product storytelling.
- Provide general marketing support and occasional administrative assistance across key projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand, or digital strategy
- Have to be comfortable being incorporated into the content and will act as an extension/personality of the brand.
- Proven leadership experience managing small teams across marketing and content functions
- Deep understanding of TikTok Shop, affiliate/UGC marketing, and short-form content ecosystems
- Proficient in campaign development, performance tracking, and e-commerce marketing
- Strong grasp of visual storytelling, brand positioning, and customer engagement tactics
- Proficient in Canva, CapCut, or other content creation tools
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Passion for fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle branding
